Upcoming CI Eng Lunch & Learn to Feature Jeronimo Bezerra on AmLight’s Network Monitoring Framework

The next CI Eng Lunch & Learn will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025, featuring Jeronimo Bezerra, who will discuss the AmLight Network Monitoring Framework and its innovative approach to network monitoring.

During the Internet2 Technology Exchange, AmLight introduced BERToD (Bit Error Rate Testing on Demand)—a cutting-edge monitoring solution that leverages Software-Defined Networking (SDN), programmable networks, and telemetry to detect and isolate packet loss. By integrating granular telemetry data with network state analysis, BERToD optimizes testing parameters such as bandwidth and packet rate to evaluate every possible path within AmLight.

Bezerra’s talk will explore the motivation, challenges, component integration, lessons learned, and future plans for BERToD, providing valuable insights into the evolving landscape of network monitoring.
